About National Police checks

Loans you can actually afford
Upon completion of your online National Police Check you will receive a National Police Certificate (PDF) via email. This may be for employment or volunteering purposes. To apply for a National Police Check you will need to provide three identity documents, including one photo ID.
National Police Check applications require at least three identity documents (totalling 100 points) and can be completed online if eligibility criteria are met, or via post. Early repayment will reduce the total interest payable on the loan. We’ll look at your income and expenses, the total loan amount, and your repayment timeframe (up to 24 months), and work with you to determine if you have the capacity to repay the loan. Our loans are repayable in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments. A dishonour fee of $33 is payable if a repayment is not made by the due date or a direct debit is declined. The maximum repayment term for each drawing against the loan is 36 months. By ‘fast payments system’ we mean National Payments Platform aka New Payments Platform aka NPP. Maximum repayment period of 36 months for each drawing.
We may refer you to another provider if we cannot meet your timeframe requirements. Once your loan is submitted to the loan provider, we usually get an assessment decision in hours. If you are 18 years or older, and you meet our other eligibility criteria, you are entitled to apply.
